Product Introduction
The vertical impact crusher is an efficient and energy-saving equipment for producing crushed stone and sand, designed to enhance energy utilization, reduce wear rates, extend maintenance intervals, shorten maintenance time, improve crushing efficiency, and elevate control precision. It features energy savings, high output, high energy utilization efficiency, excellent product particle shape, convenient maintenance and inspection, and wide applicability, thus meeting the demands of modern sand and gravel production. It is widely used in hydraulic and hydroelectric projects, refractory materials, construction, and the shaping of stone for high-grade highways and railways.
Working principle
Stone-on-stone: The material is uniformly and vertically fed from the top of the equipment. A portion of the material passes through a distributor and a feeding pipe into the high-speed rotating impeller chamber. Under the action of strong centrifugal force, it is ejected from the impeller’s discharge ports. Another portion of the material, flowing in an umbrella-like pattern through the distributor, is diverted and falls onto the impeller’s circumference, where it collides at high speed and gets crushed. After these mutual impacts, the material further forms vortices within the impeller and the rotating chamber, undergoing repeated collisions and frictional crushing.
Stone-on-iron: The material falls uniformly and vertically from the top of the equipment, entering the high-speed rotating impeller chamber through the feed pipe. Under the action of high-speed centrifugal force, it is ejected from the impeller’s discharge ports and violently collides with adjustable metal impact plates or impact rods positioned opposite the impeller within the turbine chamber, thereby achieving crushing.

1. Multiple Modes: The vertical-axis impact crusher features structural optimization of the crushing cavity tailored to different materials, and is equipped with both “stone-on-stone” and “stone-on-steel” crushing modes. Moreover, both the “stone-on-stone” lining and the “stone-on-steel” impact plates are specially designed according to the equipment’s operating conditions, significantly enhancing the crusher’s efficiency.

Additionally, the equipment is equipped with a simple lifting device, so when performing maintenance, there’s no need to use additional large-scale lifting equipment for hoisting the rotor and bearing housing, significantly reducing the difficulty of equipment maintenance and upkeep.
4. More Safe and Reliable: In its design, the vertical-axis impact crusher fully takes into account the safety and reliability of equipment operation. It features a smoother and more reliable dual-motor drive system and automatic thin-oil lubrication. At the same time, the hopper, maintenance platform, and other components of the equipment have been optimally designed to ensure safe and dependable operation.
